I'm at OpenAI, where I'm a technical lead across Search, Answers, and Capabilities — the teams figuring out what belongs in ChatGPT's context, what it should be able to do next, and what an answer should be.
I created the platform behind ChatGPT's rich answers, co-created ChatGPT Pulse, and contributed to Atlas Agent, o3, and GPT-5.x.
Before that, I ran Satchel for six years. We started with 3D reconstruction for indoor spaces, then built software to automate the paperwork that clogs up healthcare.
In my free time, I usually swim laps and read — Robert Caro, how China works, how systems fail. Also more sales books than most engineers would admit to.
I wrote the Wikipedia entry for EF-Tu. And during the pandemic, I built an Animal Crossing-inspired hangout on the web.
